COLOUR UP!

This showpiece is made from plastic and has a matching body stoking underneath. The showpiece is inspired by the Icelandic/Danish artist Olafur Eliasson. I was very inspired by his lamps, which are exhibited various places in the world. His lamps are a form of light art and are composed by different geometric shapes. In my showpiece I have tried to achieve something similar to Olafur Eliassons art. The piece is made of geometric shapes and are made of a slightly transparent material. Additionally, I have studied the colour green and different shades of the colour. I got my inspiration from the beautiful emerald stone that has a very deep green colour.
